Description
Built in 1960 by the family patriarch, the “Casa da Avó Natal” has been passed down through generations, preserving its original charm in the paradise of Terceira Island. In 2024, the fourth generation remodeled the house, breathing new life into it while keeping the spirit of Avó Natal alive, creating a cozy nook for a relaxing vacation filled with history and cherished memories.
LOCATION: At Rua do Tio Pedro Nº11, in the village of Lajes. Just a 10-minute drive to the center of Praia da Vitória, 5 minutes from the airport, and 20 minutes to the center of Angra do Heroísmo.
ESSENTIALS AND CONDIMENTS: Fully equipped with olive oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, tea, coffee, paper towels, napkins, liquid soap for hands, dish soap, toilet paper, laundry detergent, towels, bed linens, shampoo, shower gel, pots/pans, and other kitchen utensils, coffee maker and coffee capsules, toaster, electric kettle, microwave, and some spices, etc. Please bring your own basic food items for meals in the apartment.
However, you can add our breakfast service (for an additional fee).
COMFORT AND PRIVACY: Use the blinds to block out sound and sunlight.
It's a very calm and peaceful area
PARKING: Free and private parking on the property.
LAUNDRY: Avoid airline baggage fees and travel light by refreshing your clothes in the apartment. Equipped with laundry detergent, drying rack, washer, and dryer.
TOWELS AND BED LINENS: The Azores Touch team prepares everything before your arrival. General cleaning is provided, along with all bed linens and bath towels. Typically, we change them every 3 days. Please confirm during check-in the best time for maintenance of the accommodation.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES: In-person and flexible based on your reservation time. We live on a different, very welcoming island, so our team will meet guests personally at check-in and check-out. It's important to inform us in advance about your desired entry and exit times. Please let us know any special requests ahead of time.
INTERNET / TV: Wireless internet access and TV in the living room.
CRIB: Please inform us in advance if you need a crib. A portable crib is available for children from 0 to 4 years old.

- Arrival out of office opening hours: Arrange collection of the keys with the agency. The remaining amount must be paid the following day at the reception.
- The agency asks you to contact them a week before arrival to inform them of your plane/ship Nº and the arrival time to arrange key collection.
- We kindly ask you to phone us about your arrival time once you are at your destination.
- During the low-season check in and check-out hours are flexible. Contact the agency to discuss possibilities .
